KIRPC is an accredited Economic Development District by the Economic Development Administration (EDA), an organization through the U.S. Department of Commerce to provide economic development services to the region. 

With our economic development partners, we develop and implement our Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy for the region guiding:

• Economic Resiliency
• And promote economic drivers for the region
