Rural Transportation Planning

KIRPC receives annual funding from the Indiana Department of Transportation’s Small Urban and Rural Transportation Planning Program.  The goal of the program is to enhance transportation planning in small urban and rural areas.  

Activities include:

  • Traffic Counting
  • Data Collection
  • Coordination with INDOT and local officials
  • Traffic Studies
  • Other Transportation Related Projects.
